Freelance writer Ann Hutton lives in upstate New York’s magnificent Hudson Valley. Her work has appeared in numerous local publications there. A graduate of Union Institute and University at Vermont College, Ann has studied with Martha Frankel, author, entertainment journalist, and executive director of the Woodstock Book Festival held each spring in Woodstock, New York; Abigail Thomas, author of memoir and fiction, and all around writerly inspiration; and Kate Hymes, Wallkill Valley Writers workshop leader and writing coach, and recent Poet Laureate of Ulster County. Ann became a certified Amherst Writers & Artists Method workshop leader and now supports the generative principle in other writers through workshops in person in the Hudson Valley and online.
